Rope Access Work


The company employs a team of highly qualified rope access specialists with internationally recognized IRATA certifications, which allow us to carry out industrial rope access assignments all over the world.

Work at height is not for amateurs – our employees have hands-on experience in rope access jobs, they use specialized equipment, which is certified and checked for proper functioning every day. We have extensive experience in execution of contracts both on the Polish market, and abroad.

Why are industrial climbers necessary when working at heights?

Industrial climbers are able to safely and professionally perform work at very high heights that are unattainable for an untrained person. The climbers can reach places, they wouldn’t be able to reach using scaffolding, thanks to rope access techniques. Almost nothing is impossible for them.

Why is a wind turbine inspection necessary?

Snow, hail, rain, lightning are just some of the weather factors that wind turbine elements are fight daily basis. The blade of a wind turbine can be damaged by other factors as well. Such reasons may be: extreme loads or manufacturing defects, which most often lead to microdamages. The most common defects that are detected during wind turbine inspections belong: cracks, damage, peeling paint, deformation, corrosion, lightning, water ingress or oil leakage. These include the tower, shovels, nacelle and hub.

In the absence of preventive consequences, any wind turbine failure can cause wind farm owners many problems and huge financial losses. Most often, such situations are related to repairs and waiting for spare parts, which unfortunately increases downtime. Therefore, it is worth taking precautions early enough to avoid similar incidents.






Industrial marking

As part of final works on industrial and energy facilities, appropriate marking is an important step on the way for the future operation of the facility. We mark technological devices to show the flow direction, type of transported medium, operating parameters, identification of the equipment or process lines, and its reference to the P&ID diagram.

In the scope of the comprehensive service of preparing the facilities for the commissioning stage, DAAS Sp. z o.o. also offer full marking of the facility and equipment, both in terms of technological marking and industrial HSE markings at the Plant.


If some of the equipment has not been marked after assembly, and the scaffolding has already been disassembled – this is not a problem for us, because we will quickly and effectively mark the missing spots, using rope access techniques.

Our company also conducts inspections with the DJI Matrice 300 RTK drone using thermography and high-resolution cameras with a built-in LIDAR sensor, from which a “photo grid” or a cloud of points is obtained. Then, the obtained data can be used to create high-quality 3D models and orthoimages. The use of such technology ensures effective technical monitoring of facilities. 

The equipment equipped with a suitable thermal imaging camera enables the detection and visualization of temperature differences on the tested surfaces. This allows the drone operator to quickly and precisely identify areas of increased temperature, which can indicate potential problems (leaks, insulation problems, electrical shorts, etc.). 

High-resolution cameras, on the other hand, allow for detailed images and high-quality video. This allows the operator to thoroughly examine selected structures, structural elements, installations or devices. High-resolution images provide clear and detailed information, making it easy to identify faults, damage or corrosion. In addition, the stored images and video can be used as documentation to monitor changes over time and plan maintenance activities. 

We use an industrial drone to: 

  • photovoltaic farm inspections, 
  • power transmission lines, 
  • GSM telecommunications towers and inspections in the boiler. 

We also check project progress and structural damages, leaks (e.g. leaks in transmission pipes and insulation damage).

The hydrojetting process is based on the use of the phenomenon of fragmentation of material particles by directing a stream of high-pressure water onto a given surface. The liquid hits the brittle material, leading to cracking of the structure. The result is crevices, micro-cracks and the disintegration of a uniform surface into smaller elements. 

It is at this point that hydrojetting shows its extraordinary effectiveness. Broken and disintegrated material fragments are then easily removed by a continued stream of high pressure water.
